    DESCRIPTION

    IOR Global Services is an award-winning provider of global mobility services designed to advance employee effectiveness across cultures.  We are currently seeking a Manager of Global Talent Development to join our team.

    The Manager of Global Talent Development is responsible for collaborating with the Intercultural Program Manager and Director of Global Talent Development to ensure smooth intercultural program delivery at all stages. S/he also collaborates with the Director of Global Talent Development to recruit, maintain and develop IOR’s global trainer network, communicate with authorizers and clients, and assist with curriculum development.  S/he works on a daily basis with Intercultural Program Manager in setting up program logistics as well as performing other administrative functions. This position reports to the Director of Global Talent Development.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Administer a portion of RMC / Direct Client programs  
    • Input authorizations, trainer and assignee information into IOR’s program management system and contractor database
    • Initiate and schedule programs with assignees and trainers / consultants
    • Manage Assessment Tools: IDI, GCI, TAP, Country Navigator, etc.
    • Prepare supplemental learning materials as needed
    • Ensure program closure and billing
    • Process client relocation and L&D reports
    Manage Global Training and Intercultural Consultant Network
    • Process new trainer / consultant inquiries from website and other sources
    • Source/recruit new trainers for new locations as needed
    • Manage trainer information in IRMA and ensure trainer database is current
    • Enhance communication between IOR & trainers to ensure quality of program delivery
    • Maintain and update program curricula as needed in collaboration with Director
    • Conduct new trainer briefings
    • Recruit for SMEs for Intercultural Programs (Intercultural Business Consultants and Daily Living Consultants)
    Deliver programs as needed
    • In-office and local relocation and repatriation programs
    • Virtual and face-to-face group L&D programs
    • Assessment tool debriefs and written reports
    • Maintain intercultural certifications  (i.e. IDI, GCI, Cultural Detective, TAP, SAGE, GlobeSmart)
    Represent IOR to clients and professional groups as requested
    • Assist in the design of new agendas for proposals in collaboration with Business Development colleagues
    • Attend local meetings and national conferences of SIETAR and other organizations as appropriate
    • Write articles for and deliver presentations to professional groups as opportunities occur

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Job Specific
    • Experience in developing and delivering intercultural training & development for relocation
    • Ability to assess situation and prioritize tactics to achieve department outcomes
    • Takes initiative to manage challenges
    • Willingness and ability to perform administrative tasks efficiently
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; inter-culturally competent
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

    Education & experience
    • Advanced degree in field relevant to intercultural training
    • Must be certified in at least one intercultural assessment
    • Extensive international living and working experience
    • Second language competence desirable

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Director, serves a critical need in managing a scope of work related to developing educational content and implementing assessment and assessment-related materials to onboard states and large districts that adopt parts of or the whole SAT Suite of Assessments.  The Director will report to the Senior Director, Training and Outreach, and work with a range of intra-departmental functions and across divisions.  This role will be responsible for leading strategy and vision for the state and district onboarding process, consistent with constituent needs, turning those needs into a comprehensive plan, and developing the requisite resources for our state and district partners to achieve maximum benefit from the SAT Suite of Assessments.  Additional responsibilities include ensuring effective implementation and rollout in conjunction with the College Board’s State and District Partnership (SDP) team. 

    The successful candidate will be dedicated to developing deep knowledge of customer and business requirements, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills, and have successful experience interacting with a wide range of leadership and functional roles to drive work to a widely-recognized successful delivery.

    Description
    Facilitate student learning related to the Interpersonal Skills and Intercultural Knowledge embedded outcome in the University's Core Curriculum. Use the  Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS) model and AACU Intercultural Knowledge and Competence VALUE Rubric as a guide to facilitate student learning in the classroom, in study abroad programs and in co-curricular activities both on and off campus.  Coach/guide students studying abroad for a semester or academic year to help them reflect and learn from their intercultural experiences.  Assist faculty and staff who want to use the DMIS in the on-campus classroom or in study abroad.

    Qualifications
    Required:

    • Master's degree in a field relevant to the position.
    • One year of experience using the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS), as well as the Intercultural Developmental Inventory (IDI), and conducting training for faculty and/or staff in a university setting.
    • Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and additional experience in lieu of degree.
    • Working knowledge of theory, research, and assessment specifically relating to intercultural or global learning and study abroad.
    • Working knowledge of or strong interest in best practices and innovations in experiential teaching and active learning through engagement.
    • Working knowledge of best practices and innovations in teaching and learning, as well as curriculum and instruction.
    • Ability to utilize teaching and learning technologies.
    • Valid driver's license.

    Preferred:

    • PhD, EdD, JD or other terminal degree in a field relevant to the position.
    • Previous personal study abroad experience.
    • Experience teaching undergraduate students or leading study abroad programs.
    • Experience with applied research projects or program evaluation including quantitative and qualitative research methods.
    • Skills in creating digital and online instructional resources.

    The Center for Global Education and Experience (CGEE) operates Augsburg College campuses in Central America, Mexico, and Southern Africa. CGEE provides study abroad programming inspired by Paulo Freire’s philosophy of popular education, as well as other critical, experiential, feminist, indigenous, and postcolonial pedagogies that foment transformation.

    Augsburg CGEE is currently seeking an International Resident Assistant (IRA) for our Mexico location. The IRA will help promote a healthy living/learning environment for semester students & participants in short-term educational seminars, as well as to assist in the operation of all educational programs.     CIEE is currently seeking an Academic Director of Intercultural Learning to develop, facilitate, and evaluate the high-impact intercultural learning for CIEE.  Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Academic Director will design face-to-face and online intercultural learning experiences that enrich our study abroad programs and align with the CIEE Philosophy on Teaching & Learning. The Academic Director will also measure and report out on intercultural learning outcomes; develop and provide training and support for CIEE resident staff and instructors; and collaborate with teams across CIEE to achieve our organization’s strategic goals and to maximize student learning. 

    A Master’s degree in international education, intercultural communication, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, or related field is required along with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in design and delivery of intercultural and experiential learning.   Knowledge of the Intercultural Development Continuum and a commitment to become an Intercultural Development Inventory Qualified Administrator is required.  In-depth knowledge of and experience working with cultures and processes of U.S. academic institutions are required.

    The Davis International Center is committed to providing services and programs that support the growth, development, and welfare of international students and scholars on multiple levels - immigration regulatory advising and processing, cultural adjustment, social enrichment, and assistance with practical matters related to living in the U.S.

    Reporting to the Director, the International Program Coordinator & Advisor will play an important role in the coordination of Davis International Center events and programs and will also serve as an international student advisor.

    Position Summary:

    - In collaboration with the entire Davis IC staff, the Program Coordinator and Advisor will plan, coordinate, and implement Davis IC programs, events, and excursions.
    - Work closely with the Director, the Associate Director for International Students, and Davis IC staff to coordinate the annual freshman 3-day International Orientation (IO) program and the 2-day Graduate International Orientation (GIO) program.
    - Serve as initial point of contact for all incoming international freshmen until they are assigned an International Student Advisor.
    - Work closely with the Office Coordinator on program logistics including the program events calendar, venue reservations and room set-up, catering arrangements, transportation, and other related program logistics.
    - Contribute to efforts to design and implement online workshops and information sessions.
    - Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) for the F-1 student visa program and as an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for J-1 Exchange Visitor Student Program.
    - Under the supervision of the Associate Director for International Students, maintain a student advising caseload, attend advisor meetings, and assist with immigration workshops as appropriate.
    - Promote Davis IC events in the weekly newsletter, on the Davis IC Events webpage, in Facebook page/groups, and other sites as appropriate.
    - Create, design, and format Davis IC promotional flyers, posters, presentation, and packet materials.
    - Supervise the International Student Orientation Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator and supervise 20+ International Orientation Student Leaders.
    - Serve as Advisor to the IC Leaders Organization; a select student leader group whose purpose is to plan and facilitate Davis IC student-led programs and orientations.
    - Serve as the Davis IC liaison to relevant campus student organizations including International Students at Princeton (ISAP) and the Council of International Graduate Students on new programs and initiatives.
    - Work closely with the Director to maintain program collaborations with campus stakeholders including Career Services, University Health Services, The Graduate School, Office of the Dean for Undergraduate Students, Residential Colleges, McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning, Fields Center, LGBT Center, and other campus stakeholders.
    - Pursue professional development and maintain active membership in appropriate professional organizations such as NAFSA.
    - Perform other duties as needed to support strategic plans for welcoming and supporting Princeton's international students and scholars.

    Colorado State University invites nominations and applications for the position of Assistant Director for Programming of International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS). This full-time administrative professional position is responsible for the design and delivery of programming for international students and scholars on the Colorado State University campus and in the community. The position reports to the ISSS Senior Director. The Assistant Director oversees programs serving over 2,500 international students and scholars, facilitates campus and community partnerships such as the Fort Collins International Center volunteer network, and facilitates acculturation, community, and educational outreach. This position requires regular evening and weekend hours related to programming and event coordination.

    Salary: $48,000-$55,000, DOE, plus benefits equaling approximately 25% of salary.
