The auction is completely online, so you can browse items and place bids from wherever you are.

By donating an item, you are agreeing to cover the cost of shipping or delivery to the winning bidder.
After the auction closes, SIETAR USA will provide the donor with the information needed to send the item directly to the winner. Please plan to ship or deliver your item within 14 days following the auction.
If you are donating a service, consultation, virtual experience, gift certificate, or other nonphysical item, please provide any instructions, restrictions, expiration dates, or other information the winning bidder should know.
How to Bid
The 2026 SIETAR USA Silent Auction will be hosted through Zeffy, an online fundraising and auction platform.
You do not need to create a Zeffy account to participate. When you place your first bid, you will provide your contact and payment information. Zeffy will then send you a private bidder link that allows you to easily return to the auction and manage your bids.
You can place a single bid or use Auto-Bid to enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay. With Auto-Bid, Zeffy will automatically increase your bid by the required increment when someone bids against you, up to the maximum amount you selected.
If you are outbid, Zeffy will send you an email notification so you have an opportunity to bid again.
What Happens If I Win?
When the auction closes, the highest bidder for each item is the winner. The payment method provided when bidding will automatically be charged for the amount of the winning bid.
Winning bidders will receive an email from Zeffy confirming their win and providing a payment receipt.
For physical items, the donor is responsible for shipping or delivering the item to the winning bidder. Please allow appropriate time following the auction for your item to arrive.
Important Zeffy Bidding Information
Please keep the following in mind when participating:

You will only be charged if you are the winning bidder.

Once a bid is placed, bidders cannot cancel it themselves.

The payment method associated with a bid cannot be changed by the bidder after the bid is placed.

Zeffy offers Auto-Bid, allowing you to set the maximum amount you are willing to bid.

Zeffy sends email notifications when you have been outbid.

To prevent last-second bidding, Zeffy automatically extends bidding on an item when a bid is received within the final three minutes. Each late bid can extend that item's closing time by three minutes, up to a maximum total extension of 30 minutes.

Winning bids are automatically processed when the auction closes.
