Weekend Workshops

Weekend Workshops - Coming Soon!

Expanding on SIETAR USA's monthly webinar series, our Weekend Workshops provide opportunities to explore intercultural, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging (DEIB), and social justice topics in greater depth. Offered four times a year, these interactive 2.5-hour sessions complement our 90-minute monthly webinars by creating space for deeper learning, meaningful discussion, and practical application.

Designed for educators, trainers, researchers, and intercultural and DEIB professionals, Weekend Workshops feature expert facilitators and interactive learning experiences that encourage dialogue, reflection, collaboration, and skill development. Whether you're looking to strengthen your intercultural competence, advance your DEIB practice, or engage with emerging issues shaping our field, these workshops provide the time and space to deepen your expertise, connect with peers, and translate learning into action.

Interested in Presenting a Workshop?

We welcome proposals from experienced practitioners, educators, researchers, and thought leaders whose work advances intercultural learning, DEIB, and social justice. You do not need to be a SIETAR member or be based in the United States to present a weekend workshop. If you have an engaging, interactive workshop to share with the SIETAR USA community, we'd love to hear from you. (Note: I will work with Cheryl Anne to create a proposal submission form for the weekend workshops)

The mission of SIETAR USA is to provide an interdisciplinary community of educators, trainers, and researchers that nurtures and supports transformational growth, intercultural understanding, and professional interchange with a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and social justice.

You do not need to be a SIETAR USA member or based in the United States to submit a webinar proposal. Whether you are a seasoned professional, an early-career practitioner, a student or recent graduate, we welcome innovative ideas, new research, and skills or experiences that could serve as meaningful professional development opportunities for our SIETAR USA community.

Topics may include (but are not limited to):

      • Intercultural communication, training, and education
      • Diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and social justice
      • Facilitation, coaching, consulting, and leadership development
      • Global citizenship, immigration, mobility, and identity
