    “The Future is Collaborative: Humans + AI in Intercultural Training” reframes AI from a threat to a thoughtful partner. We’ll explore how AI can surface cultural patterns, personalize reflection prompts, and provide light-touch reinforcement between workshops, while the human work of empathy, storytelling, and connection stays central. Participants will see practical ways to reduce administrative load, sharpen facilitation, and extend learning beyond the room. We’ll address ethical guardrails, privacy, and bias, and share case examples showing how AI can help track progress, identify recurring challenges, and curate resources, so trainers arrive better prepared, more present, and able to deliver higher-impact experiences.

    Valerie Bath 
    Valerie Bath is an executive coach, trainer and founder of Cultural Business Consulting. For over two decades, she has helped global leaders and teams communicate effectively across cultures, designed training programs, and led change with clarity and care. Valerie’s work blends cross-cultural expertise with practical tools that turn insight into action. She is actively expanding her knowledge of AI and AI ethics, advocating pro-human AI that augments, not replaces, human judgment and connection. A frequent speaker and facilitator, Valerie is known for grounded frameworks, warm delivery, and actionable takeaways that empower intercultural professionals to create measurable impact in complex, real-world contexts.

    The exhibit area will be accessible to exhibitors for setup on Wednesday, November 12th, at 1:00 pm. Please plan to have your exhibit ready for display by 5:00 pm, Wednesday, November 12th. All materials must be removed by 5:00 pm, Saturday, November 15th, 2025.


    Booth Equipment
    Standard booth equipment consists of one 30" X 6' table (or two tables depending upon payment), covered and skirted, one chair, and electrical outlets for video or computers. The exhibit area is very attractive and does not require a great deal of decoration. There is no “dead” space. You may bring your own set-up materials such as easels, dividers, and backdrop for signs, posters, special coverings, and so forth. Exhibitor Personnel are responsible for arranging shipping and delivery of equipment and supplies to the hotel (Fed-Ex / UPS). The hotel charges a box handling fee listed in the Exhibitor Services Request form.

    Insurance
    Exhibitors at the SIETAR-USA conference are required to provide both workers’ insurance for their employees or representatives and general liability insurance. Neither the Embassy Suites Downtown Portland nor SIETAR-USA will be responsible for any injury, loss or damage to the exhibitor, the exhibitor’s employees, or property, however caused. In addition, the exhibitor must assume responsibility for damages to the Embassy Suites Downtown Portland property, and indemnify or hold harmless the Embassy Suites Downtown Portland from liability that might ensue from any cause whatsoever, including accidents, or injuries to exhibitors, their representatives, or employees. The exhibitor must also assume responsibility for any accident, injury or property damage to any person viewing his/her exhibit where such accident, injury, or property damage is caused by the negligence of the exhibitor, his or her representatives, or employees.


    Booth Attendant
    Due to the tremendous value of some exhibits, it is impossible for SIETAR-USA to insure exhibitors’ equipment against loss, theft, damage and breakage. In their own interest and for security purposes, exhibitors shall keep an attendant in their booth during all exhibit hours. Exhibitor Personnel are responsible for making their own hotel and travel arrangements.
